Ms. Glidden has more than 30 years of experience as a financial intermediary, as President of her own financial intermediary and consulting company for the latter half of her career and in key business development and management positions with major financial institutions for the first half of her career. Her primary focus for the past ten years has been on performance improvement, acquisitions and the subsequent integration and consolidation of those companies, strategic long term planning, plant closing, and financings. This includes both healthy companies and turnaround situations. Prior to that, the focus had been on debt financings, mergers, and acquisitions. Professional experience and responsibility demonstrate a proven track record of accomplishments and expertise in a wide variety of industries, company size and management styles.
Her experience includes the following:
- Acquisition of a chemical distributor, leading the team to complete integration within 60 days.
- Acquisition of a chemical manufacturer, leading the team to complete consolidation, a plant closing and move of business to a new location within 75 days.
- Acquisition search, due diligence and financing assistance resulted in two acquisitions completed within 90 days.
- Risk analysis of customers, resulting in system for managing exposure.
- Systematic analysis of inventory turnover, resulting in 25% reduction in total inventory, and disposal of obsolete inventory.
- Assistance in negotiating various debt financings with secured lenders.
- Assistance in negotiating with a Factor to more effectively manage credit risk.
